Clean Plates N.Y.C.
In a world obsessed with portion control, the idea of a clean plate seems almost naughty. But why shouldn’t we eat foods so delicious we want to lick every morsel off the plate? And what about “clean” just meaning free from processed, chemical foods. Seems like clean plates are what we should be striving for. And, Jared Koch, author of Clean Plates N.Y.C., would agree. In his book, Koch sets out to help clean our plates by giving us two tools. One is an understanding of what the body needs and when it needs it — thus giving us the power to create healthy diets. The other consists of healthy (not just vegetarian) restaurant recommendations written with the help of food critic Alex Van Buren. Koch believes these tools will help us eat healthier and feel better. And, we believe him. We’re feeling smarter and better already. And, all we did was read the book.
